Purpose
The purpose of this web site is to provide comprehensive links to technical
publications required for planning, design and construction of Sacramento District
Projects.
It was created as an aid for designers, Project Manager's, specification writers,
Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms, and construction contractors working with the
Sacramento District.
What can be found
here (not all inclusive):
- Links to the OFFICIAL
SITES for Army and Air Force Publications.
- Links to the Air force
bases, Army Installations, and Civil Partners within Sacramento District boundaries.
This includes links to their specific technical publications web sites and
other design guidance we are sent and asked to use.
- Regional guide specification
information (SPKGS, SPKNOTES, supplements to UFGS)
- Links to most Scope of
Work references (such as CADD Border Sheets, A-E Guidance).
- Links to most Corps criteria
sites (HQ USACE, WES, TECHINFO, ERDC-CERL, etc)
What can NOT be
found here:
- For Official Use Only
(FOUO) publications.
- Specific Project Documents
(drawings, old reports, etc).
Requesting Publications:
Our office supports only
Governmental Agencies and A-E firms or contractors working under current contract
with the Corps of Engineers. Publication requests for documents not found here
should be directed to the Corps' Project Manager assigned to the project. This
is to get approval on applicability of its use. At Project Manager request,
we research and/or supply the necessary criteria.
